American weaponry can be destroyed by weapons that cost 1 to 4 orders of magnitude less

the financial burden of this is crippling the US - effective destroying the US economy and it's ability long term to confront external threats

immediate action is required to develop and deploy weapons that compete on cost and effectiveness
